Prague and Budapest · 24 and 30 June 1991

Raised
Zappa's last public performance, his jam with My Gypsy Friends in Budapest on 30 June 1991, is on YouTube as a video, paired with his Prague jam with Pražský výběr six days earlier. Reviewers added that Budapest also has a video of its own, that both shows circulate on Zappateers as video, audio and bootleg CD, and that the Prague jam had an official release.
Decision
Applied to both nights, which had been listed with no known recording. Prague now shows the official release: Pražský výběr's Adieu CA (1992), where the jam is titled "Improvizace v A dur s Frankem Zappou". Budapest is listed as circulating on video, with audio and a bootleg CD; we don't know the source type yet, so it has no grade. The circulating copies also confirm the 30 June date.
